Ritual Structures is a monumental soundscape of hypnotic bass guitar atmospheres, hybrid electro-metallic instruments and the primordial voices of Tibetan monks. This is an audiophile quality recording of the legendary bansuri flute master, Raghunath Seth from Bombay. The album flows through a wide range of styles and emotions, from deep and meditative to bright and energetic. Seth's virtuosity and Balkrishnan Iyer's rhythmic mastery of the tabla drums combine to make a perfect introduction to the music of India. Textural Native American flute music from the eldest son of the late Commanche artist and musician Doc Tate Nevaquaya. Lean's handcrafted traditional instruments and evocative melodies fill vast reverberant spaces with power and grace as he infuses every note with an honest, contemplative quality. Stramp combines panpipes, shakuhachi, bansuri and other flutes with revolutionary sound processing to create haunting instrumental music of unparalleled depth, quality and emotion.
